Does anyone know about a sewing machine called Hale's Crescent?? I've got the opportunity to buy one for $10, npbut know nothing about it, and can't FIND anything about it either.

Thanks for those. I Think I'm going to pass on it. If it's this hard to find info on it, I can't imagine how hard it will be to find parts should I need them!!!

Ten dollars? For ten bucks, you really can't lose. What kind of condition is it in? Do you already know you're going to need parts?
No matter what, if you never get it sewing, there's going to be ten dollars worth of education in that machine... |
It appears to be all original, even down to the original instruction booklet. Circa early 1900's. The 15-page booklet is titled;
"Directions for using the new Silent and Light Running Sewing Machine". The machine looks like it might work right now. It is dusty, and there is one broken leg on the side which would need welding. |
