Hancocks going out of business

A local fabric store is going out of business and I was able to score...big time! Got about 10 different fabrics for 2.39 per yard at 70% off. The reg price was 7.99 per yard. I bought 5 yards of each unless the bolt was just about gone, then I just took the entire bolt. I can't wait to get back to that store again tomorrow! Just can't say no to prices like that!

Wow! What a deal! Of course, I can't imagine I would ever sleep again trying to use up 50-100 yards of fabric.
What plans do you have for all your fun finds? Perhaps I can enjoy them vicariously -- I fractured my hip so for the next 8 weeks I'm limited to handwork & I'm desperately missing FMQ time; but even still -- 100 yards of fabric!!! omg!!! |
congratulations!

yeah team! score!

Super deal and great fabrics - you won't have to buy backings and border fabric for awhile. You should definitely stock up while you can, you don't often come across a deal like that in a LQS.

It's a nationwide chain that has gone out of business. Sold their entire inventory to one of those liquidation companies. Ours is now basically down to the fixtures. Last week, stopped in to see if there were any usable notions left--needed pins--but no luck.

I bought a Go die cut with starter die and mat for 60% off at the going out of business sale. It was just sitting there on the bottom shelf back in the upholstery section. The employee who checked me out didn't even know what it was or what it was for. :D I have a Go and a Go Big so I bought this one to donate for the silent auction table for my guild.

Nice!!! That's a great score!

Our Hancocks closed several months ago and I sure do miss it.
