Has anyone tried Beth Ferrier's method of applique? She has a book More! Hand Applique by Machine: 9 quilt Projects, Updated Techniques, Needle-Turn Results Without Handwork. I am new to applique and I have been trying to read about different techniques. Thanks for your help.

Before you decide, look at Kim Diehl's books. I have two friends who swear by her methods and I love her books too. Other good ones are by Sharon Schamber and Harriet Hargrave.

Hmmm ... this is interesting. I love hand applique but I sure didn't know you could do it any way except by hand. I'll stay tuned for more on this.

I wouldn't do it for the longest time cause I thought it would be difficult and too time consuming, but I finally tried it and now I'm hooked. It's my favorite thing to do!
