Hand lotion for quilters

My hands tend to get dry in the winter to begin with.

Handling fabric all the time just seems to make it worse. Also---handling HOT fabric from all the pressing that quilters do dries my hands even more.

What do you use for hand lotion? I use a lot of Bath & Body Works lotion. But I would like to find something that works a little better.

Thanks in advance for advice!

Dermasil from the Dollar Tree......yep just 1 buck....use to sell for $6 in the big box stores.

Bath and Body Works lotions leave my fingers feeling greasy. I prefer Neutrogena's Norwegian Hand Creme (found at drug stores everywhere). It soaks in quickly and doesn't leave hands feeling greasy and does a great job moisturizing. I keep a tube in my car and another in a drawer next to my sewing machine.

I like cheap dollar store Udder Cream
also, Victoria's secret, their vanilla hand cream is the best.

I use gold bond healing hand cream-- wonderful stuff & I can still hand sew after applying it. Non greasy.

Pricey but excellent is Clarins Hand and Nail cream. I ask for it at birthdays and Christmas :)

Udder Cream - in the white with black splotches containers. Good stuff!

I don't use lotion at all. I guess it's because of where I live. When I press fabric, I let the fabric cool before handling. I never thought to use hand lotion because it leaves my hands feeling greasy and plus leaves residue on the fabric.

I like Gold bond too. It really feels nice on the hands.

Gold Bond Ultimate Healing, or Udderly Smooth... both work great and aren't greasy.
