My late Mom gave me all of her crocheted granny squares in a large paper bag, which went from her closet to mine where it sat for years. My Mom passed away and the bag sat in my closet. Years later when my sister found out she was going to be a Grandma for the first time I got motivated to finish the blanket and give it to her as a gift from Mommy on becoming a Grandmother. As I worked on it, I spoke to my mother as if she were sitting there working on it with me. It made me feel so good, and now each time I see the completed afghan I feel like part of our mother is still there with us. She touched it. So keep up the good work.
