I went to the library on Saturday and checked out a book called Quilting Designs from the Past by Jenny Carr Kinney. It has lots of pictures of how to quilt all different kinds of quilts. I really like the quilting ideas in it. Don't forget libraries are free- if you want to see if a quilt book is worth buying. I checked out 5 of them. Charmed I'm sure , Folk Art Favorites , Fig Tree quilts- fresh vintage sewing, Small Blocks - Stunning Quilts and the quilting one. Just thought I would share.
Happy Quilting!

Thanks for reminding me. I completely forgot about going to the library. Sure would save a lot of money!

I love the library for quilting resourses. I'm working on learning to machine quilt and that is how I'm getting started. Will probably take a class this spring too.

I am a regular at our public library. Here you can even request the purchase of a book for library use...very handy. There is also the inter-library loan system. I was in library supply/bookselling for many years...can't imagine a life without books.
