Hi everyone-love this board! I am flying tomorrow to Texas and have not flown in years. Can I bring a tiny pair of scissors on the plane or will that be a problem? I know I can get alot of quilting done in the five hours I will be on the plane.............

I would opt for bringing a pair of child's scissors with the rounded ends. Everyone is so touchy these days. :(

Clover makes a thread cutter.

A good set of fingernail clippers works good too.

I am not sure with all the new rules you may want to call the airlines and find out. :?

I had mine taken.

If you are fllying within the US, you can bring sharp scissors, as long as the blade is 3" or less. I've been bringing mine on flights for the past 2-3 years with no problem. If in doubt, check the airline you are flying.
