Appreciate any help.

I've seen some simple two-sided ornaments made of fabric or felt - teddy bear, cat, snowman, etc.

The look like they are "sew and stuff"

How about the candycane reindeer? I always enjoyed making them with and for my students. Supplies: candy canes, red pompom for the nose, pipecleaners for the antlers and google eyes.

Buy medium or small blue plastic ball ornaments, paint the kids whole palm and fingers with white paint. Put the ball upright in their hand and have them close their fingers around it. Help them press their fingers down. Their palm will form snow and they will have 5 little snowmen to decorate with fine point sharpies. Use a gold paint pen to write their name and year on it. Did this every year with my first graders. Children would come back years later to tell me that their mom still hangs it on the Christmas tree.
