I have a gammil now but I liked my handi quilter set up, especially for free motion embroidery!

I love my frame, the price was right and it fit what I needed it for. I’ve had it for over 5 years. I have in this time re-configured it to be a permeate set up. I extended the poles, added extra supports and build a rollaway table. |
I just picked up one of these on Craigslist and I can't wait to try it! It was easy to set up. I wish there were old videos on youtube to help me understand how to set up the quilt on it. These pictures you all post really help!

Yes, it went together really well. Someone posted a pdf here about some other tips from the original one so I have that too. I just need to figure out which of my machines will work best in it. I might have to make a handle set up so I can quilt from the front of it. Hmmmm... I'll try it as it is for now.

I have a handy quilter frame that I used with my Pfaff machine. I never could get the hang of it and took it down and it is in my basement. I use the machine a lot. It sews like a dream. Straight stitch only, but smooth and very fast. I like it because it has IDT and needle down and so much more. I would like to sell my frame if someone is interested. I am disabled worse than I thought and it was too much work for me. I have the instructions and a VCR tape showing how to put it together. I also have the cruise control.
