The link that I have included is for Fabrics of Life. It is a store in Edmonds, Washington that sells handmade batik fabrics and fat quaters. It is a non-profit foundation and the money goes to education programs for women in developing countries (like the Congo, West Africa, Viet Nam) to give them skills to run their own businesses and take care of their families. In the communities that they work in it has been proven that if you educate and train the women of the family the families will fair better, children will eat better and they break the cycle of poverty.
Here is the best part for us...The fabrics are BEAUTIFUL!! Enjoy https://secure.wolfpk.com/schillios/section.cfm?wSectionID=4264]https://secure.wolfpk.com/schillios/...SectionID=4264[/url] |
Wow I cannot wait to go there!!
Will have to add this shop to the list if I can ever get up North again :D:D:D
Lovely fabric but way too pricey for me at $57 for 7 FQ.
yikes the price!! $9.50 per fat quarter?! not in my lifetime
That price is inclusive of the shipping charges. If you buy 6 you get a 7th one free. This is handmade, unique design fabric. And it supports a worthy cause.

they are pretty!
