Handpiecing Pattern help Needed

Hello all of my quilting friends! I will be leaving in 2 weeks on a two month road trip vacation in a 5th wheel. (I do plan on doing the Row By Row.. in every state that I can!) But the help I need now is for a block pattern that would look good in 30's Repros. I have a nice selection and Kona white as a go-with. My original plan was for Dresden plates on white background because I love needle-turn applique! I just thought some of you might have a better idea on show casing this lovely fabric. Please keep in mind that really small pieces would probably not work well..I do plan on cutting the pieces and bagging them in zip locks before I leave on June 18th.

I would love to see pictures of what you have done or would suggest

Thank you in advance.....because I know you all will come through as usual!

I like Churn Dash. It can be made in various sizes and one can use two or more fabrics in each one.

The blocks seem to be agreeable to being sashed or unsashed.

Hexies for GFGs are certainly 30s fabrics friendly!
So many potential layouts.

And certainly something that is travel friendly.
