Handquilting with Aurifil thread?

So today I got my Aurifil Thread not only did I get my normal 50w but I ordered some quilting thread 28w for me too. I have been using YLI 40wt 3-ply Hand Quilting Thread saw that it was getting kind of tangled but when I started using the new thread I noticed that the Aurifil hasn't tangled at all. Its light and goes threw the fabric wonderfully I guess because it is a 28w. I think I will quilt with this tread if I want small stitches for applique or like I am now stitching in the ditch, it is not hanging on the fabric and making runners. I'm very happy that I bought this tread.

I have only used specialty thread made for quilting (C&C). Tangling thread is the worst situation when hand quilting. Glad this may work for you.

Can I asked where you ordered it from if that's not against the rules?
