What a soft, delicate-looking quilt! I love vintage hankies! They remind me of my Mother (who always had a fresh one in her purse). Do they still even make ladies hankies?

They do sell women's hankies but they aren't nearly as nice as the onces we all remember. They are hard, very stiff, even if you wash them a couple times. I think it's inferior quality fabric and some of it is heavy ink printing. Love my old ones I've gotten at yard sales and from my mother. Always keep one in my purse for tears and grandson.

I have seen several with the hankies folded to look like butterflies. I think I searched on hankies butterfly quilts.

I have a book that has fabulous quilts made out of hankies. Can not sell it, but can hunt down the book and give you the name of it.
