Two are old, mechanical machines I will NEVER part with, one is the Pfaff Creative 2170, an embroidery machine, and the Pfaff Performance 5.0, your machine model. You will love this machine. Happy Birthday!! I bought a floor model of the Performance 5.0 last December, and love it! Do check out the video that'll vschieveposted. My Pfaff Tiptronic still works great, but if the motherboard ever "dies," that's it. So I bought the 5.0 at a great price with full factory warranty (most of the parts were still unopened in the plastic bags from the factory). So I'm learning the new machine and having fun. Hope you do, too!
