i joined other guild members to sew for community quilts... i bound one quilt, did some cutting, ironing, and sewed some strips... a good time was had by all.... and the community quilts chairwoman brought doughnuts to keep us going :)

Just got home from a two day retreat. I always meet a new friend and get a new idea. Doesn't make any difference to me if I get anything done.

I cut my first squares

I have been messing about since 5.00am as I had to get up early to watch F1 in Australia. While I was watching I did some 4 patches and since then started to do an applique . I am trying to decide how to do the next stage . Machine or hand? , while I eat a large piece of boiled sultana cake.

Today seems to be endless.

i have my easy does it cut out so will start sewing it up to day.
