My only goal today was to get to harbor freights for some of their "sewing" Items :) My kids thought that the store was a fabric store from the way I talked about it they laughed once they figured it out! I managed to find MANY rotary blades in stock and I only purchased 5. I also found some cute little sewing kits to finish my hostess gifts. found some great garden gloves for my FMQ and dental tools for $5 clotilde had them for $10 and measuring tape with a light all for $40!! That about wiped me out now resting!!

After reading on this board many posts about the rotary blades at Harbor Freight I was super excited when I drove by one in Charlotte last week. Hit the brakes, and ran right in but they said they carried no such animal! ARGH. They told me it must be a discontinued item, or they would have it. So I get home, look it up on thier website and there it is! :(

what I forgot to post is when I checked out the lady goes "Oh you must be a quilter?" I asked why she said the blades are being bought by alot of quilters her friend told her about them. I told her they were the worst things in the whole word wink wink :) just kidding.

I am still using a harbor freight blade I put in my cutter before starting to cut out 8 throw sized quilts i am workign on for Christmas gifts. I also put one blade int he cutter at theshop and I can tell you they are well worth the effort and money to find. They out cut any other blade I have found so far and I have not had any troubles with burrs or nicks yet.

We went to HF a couple of weeks ago. Looked for rotary blades, but there were none. I did get a magnetic stretch wrist band for $2.99, perfect for taking pins out as I sew.
Also picked up a set of tweezers too. They work great! |
Very good, smart!

Wish we had one near here!
