Have any of you ever used one of these, if you have do they work well??

Someone gave me one as a Christmas gift and I use it as a travel pincushion: the stuffing makes it tough to insert pins. But, it's cute.
Wow! I have never seen one of those. A very reasonable price too. It looks interesting. Hope someone has the answer for you.
not me either ,but it is one thing that would just take practice.
you could use it to quilt as you go. a row of blocks that fit the width of that. good luck and have fun. |
never used it, but looks good.
That really looks neat. I hope some one has used one and can let us know all about it. Looks interesting.
The width seems rather small to me... I think a 24"r would be more useful for quilting table runners & place mats... jmho

I had to read your post twice to figure out what you were talking about!! Oh well.....most of us are in the same boat....usually half a step off!! :-) :-) |
It looks like a smaller version of John Flynn's quilting frame...perfect size for QAYG

I have the big Joh Flynn frame and the first time I tried it was a disaster. I should have practiced more before attempting it on something good. But never let it be said, I was the sharpest tack!
I haven't used this before, but, it's very similar to a 'John Flynn' system looks like it would work pretty well left to right, but somewhat limited back & forth, based on the photo; WAY too small for my needs. You might want to try it... send it back if it doesn't suit your needs.
I have one. I got on the clearance table. Never used it but I saw a little girl on youtube using it and for machine quilting and having a great time. Only problem, I didn't save the sight and now I can't find it.
I looked at that in alot of nice things but cant aford any of it but I to would like to know if it works.
This looks similar to the one John Flynn has designed but his is quite pricey - check out his website, www.flynnquilts.com
It might be worth getting with one of those 50% off coupons just to play with
