Has anyone done the Elm Creek Loyalist Union Sampler Quilt?

I am embarking on this project and wonder if anyone has any helpful hints for me!

I haven't done the project, but it sure looks interesting. Have fun!

I have the book and keep looking at when I start it. Other things come into stop me . I'll keep watching and learn from you.

first thing I did was tear out the pages in the back of the book and scanned and photocopied everything. Then I made templates out of card stock and printed out the foundation aka paper piecing sections. Now when I boo boo on a paper piecing part I have the saved file and can simply print out another page.

Hi Carslo - I am going to order the book - or kindle edition - today. Is it mostly paper piecing? Say no ;-)
Are you finding the directions ok to follow? What do you think of using the kindle instead of a real book?
I just finished reading J.Chiaverini's "The Spymistress" when I saw your post. Thanks for any info
