Has anyone ever pieced the Minky fabric embpossed chevron pattern?
 

In the past I have tried to piece Minky fabric to do a backing.. and due to the pile it was not a clean piecing. I ended up cutting into large blocks so it looked like it was planned to have the pile in all different directions.

But now I have some of the embossed chevron pattern Minky and I wonder if this would be easier to piece for a backing

Right now I just made the toddler quilt the size to match with width of the minky, but I really like this fabric and I am considering making a larger quilt... if I could piece it reasonably

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I found that Minky is too stretchy to piece and I was just making a cover for a pillow for a friend who needed some soft padding for his wheelchair. Good Luck !!
