I'm working on my hubby's older sister's quilt (Twin Size) and this quilt I won't send out for quilting cause another older sister she just bought a Bernina that can quilt. she would like to practice her quilting. we knew the hancock has discount 50% for all battings and they also have FUSI-BOO BATTING on sale too...we would like to know that FUSI works good with quilting or not. It has 2 fusible side, very simply sandwich a layer of batting between quilt top and backing, just press with steam iron on ( they say that on the package)........please advice and share your expreriences to me......thank you

(the top quilt will be done by tomorrow)

I've never used that brand but I have used other fusible battings, and I've also just spray basted an ordinary batting to the top and backing. Both worked well for me.
Good luck.

Wish I could help, this is one I will be watching. This is new to me but very interesting.

I've not used that specific batting, but the fusible ones don't work well if you've starched your fabric. Also I wouldn't use it for anything larger than say a wall size one. I've not been very successful with fusible batts!

I have tried a couple of battings that had fusible, it didn't fuse evenly, came loose, and I was not happy with it at all... I ended up having to pin it :(

I am intersted in hearing about this brand, though :D:D:D
