Someone just posted that it was probably from the ShopHop, which certainly makes sense. There is already talk about their "fantastic" customer service, so I'm really anxious to hear about fabric quality. Hope someone keeps us up to date!

I have signed up for newsletters when bunny searching... forgot all about them til the emails started showing up LOL

I pretty much trust those in the hops, but I do use either a credit card or paypal to be on the safe side :D:D:D

I'm also curious but still plan on a small purchase just to check the quality. Those prices are FANTASTIC!

I have ordered fabric from there several times. I even ordered a pattern and did not want to use the colors suggested, so the owner worked with me and sent emails of fabrics in the color families I wanted and figured the yardage with the additional border that I added and mailed all of it to me. Very pleased with their service and first rate batiks.

Do you think prices are better than Fabric.com. Or is this another source. Different shop, different fabrics.

I got the same e-mail also. Looked it over and the prices are great! It never occured to me about where it came from...thanks for bringing this up, always pays to be safe!!

If you look closely it starts out at say.. $6.95 per yard. BUT in the box, the .5 is to give you the option of 1/2 a yard at half that price. I hope I worded that right! :lol: :mrgreen: :D

I've decided to do mostly wallhangings to start...besides this biscuit quilt that I am ready to top stitch the edges and then do the seam snipping. Anyway...I saw a picture of a quilt in a book and fell in love with the wide border fabric that was used. I saw something similar at JoAnn's but didn't buy it. Well...this site has a LOT of similar fabric so I'm pretty sure I will be placing an order soon.

I can't say this enough...I just love this board and how great everyone is at sharing so much information.

Jan, I've been on shophop and I haven't received anything from this site. They can get your info from any site that's not sucure or from just following your search histories. If they see your go to certain compitition they can get you email information from there.

Haven't shopped there.Just wanted to say it's very smart to ask about any unknown site.We all need to be alert as to where we spend our money these days.Now to check it out! :)
