Has anyone here ordered from "Quiltcomfort.com"?

They have been advertising on Facebook. Really darling daisy patterned jelly rolls and charm packs! There are some reviews but don't know if they are the real thing. I was wanting my club to order but they are leery. The prices are good ($16 and $17 for jelly rolls) but the shipping is a lot, like most mail order places. If we order $75 shipping is free. We are wanting to do the "3 dudes" blocks.

Did you see that the jelly rolls only have 17 strips? If you got 2 rolls you would still only have 34 strips for $32-$34. Regular jelly rolls have 40 strips.

Consensus was the jelly rolls were over priced seeing as they have so few strips, and the fabric is from Marshall's Dry goods. If your club wants to order you would be farther ahead ordering yardage directly from Marshall's then cutting your own strips.

I'm happy to see a review of this place too. I didn't notice that their jelly rolls were "shorted" in strips. Good to know IF you are making a specific pattern that requires all 42 strips.

I ordered online recently and it said the shipping was $17.00, but when it arrived it was only about $6.75. I think many of these places may have estimates on the shipping to start out.

quiltingcandy 04-26-2016 10:53 AM

Boston 1954 - did they credit the difference in shipping? Or was it charged as Shipping AND Handling fees.

I have cut my own Jelly rolls because of the strips being too off by as much as 1/2-3/4". Cheaper to cut your own. Another reason I don't order on line much.

Be sure to check out the number of strips. Not ALL packages contain 40 strips.

Casi 04-26-2016 01:58 PM

Yes, I found this posting after I had already posted my question. Glad to know about the number of pieces! I won't be purchasing from them that is for sure!

QuiltnLady1 04-26-2016 06:27 PM

Just checked out Marshalls dry goods -- wow the prices are great!! Will have to remember to check them out the next time I need fabric.

meanmom 04-28-2016 03:31 PM

I have seen the add. I love the fabric, but I am trying not to buy fabric. I don't know anything about the website

nana2madmax 04-28-2016 06:42 PM

maryellen2u 04-28-2016 08:34 PM

I have a stupid question! How can I tell the price of Marshalls Dry Goods Fabric? I just randomly looked at a gazillion pieces of fabric and could not find a price anywhere.

You were looking at the wholesale site. you need to call for pricing. Here's the retail site link:

I just ordered a package of Paisley Party Charm Squares from them yesterday, but now I am worried that they are just a scam. I did not pay using PayPal, but my receipt shows that it did go through PayPal to a name of Burgess Xavier. I am worried and confused about that. His name is no where on the Facebook website belonging to QuiltComfort. If anyone finds any info on the company, please advise. Thanks!

I haven't ordered from them, but $16-$17 for 17 strips is pretty expensive--especially when you don't know what quality they are. And the shipping seems high also. I only order from Missouri Star Quilt Company online. Their quality is excellent, their jelly rolls have 40-42 strips and average about $25 per jelly roll. Their shipping is a flat $5 unless you order $100, then it's free. They also have Daily Deals that change each day. I have purchased jelly rolls for less than $20 as a Daily Deal--they are the same good quality and not "weird" patterns. No, I don't work for them but do love their company!

quiltingcandy 07-25-2016 02:00 PM

Call them and ask if they got your order and why you are concerned, they will like to know if they have been hacked. You could also call PayPal. My PayPal was hacked - luckily I found out within a couple hours.

I ordered a layer cake that was supposed to have 12 patterns and 36 squares. When I received it, it had 24 squares of 10 patterns. They do not have a phone number listed on their website, so I emailed the company. They said they were going to send me a complete layer cake. I haven't received it yet (after a week) because they shipped it to Montana. I live in Texas. :(

Quilt Comfort order not received

Yes,I ordered from Quilt Comfort several months ago and have not received my merchandise. My credit card has been charged and they furnished a receipt to my credit card bank showing my receipt of the order but I did not get the order. It has been about 5 months now and I am still arguing with them. They keep sending me messages saying my order will ship within the next 48 hours but still, no merchandise.; I really don't know what else I can do about this but I certainly will not ever order from them again, and I strongly advise everyone to not order from them.

I would be very leery of anything that is advertised on Facebook.

Customer Service at Quilt Comfort

I had ordered a kit from them and found the customer service at Quilt Comfort to be utterly abysmal. Those people are rude and do nothing for you. They insist on having the last word and argue over every little thing. I'd rather pay twice as much than have to be subject to their sarcastic insults.

This thread originated more than 7 years ago. With the ongoing complaints, I'm amazed that this company can stay in business that long. I guess that's the power of facebook.

I find it interesting that a lot of the people complaining about them only posted that one thing. No other posts. And they seem to have joined just to complain about Quilt Comfort. The whole thing is strange
