Has Anyone Made a kaleidoscope Quilt?

I'm looking at the DOUBLEDIPITY quilt book by Marci Baker and I love the kaleidoscopic quilts. http://quiltwithmarcibaker.com/proje...dipity-quilts/ Before I shell out the money for her book, (which I'm sure is well worth the price. All of her other books are awesome,) I'd like to know if anyone else has tried this type of pattern before. Is it hard to do? Thanks, Cindy

I made one using Eleanor Burns book. She always gives detail instructions and plenty of photos.

Notice the book is by Sara Nephew, not Marci. Marci bought out Nephew's Clearview Triangles, the tool probably used in this book. If you buy the book and don't have the triangle, it's worth it to get that, too. I've used the Clearviews since the 90s and love them.

Ah...you're absolutely right. Sara Nephew IS the author.

Yeah...I did buy one of those rulers for a 3D project that I never did...although, I'm still considering doing it. The ruler is still in its plastic wrap and I'm dying to try it out.

I like to go to amazon.com to check out books like this one. Sometimes they will give you a view of some of the inside pages as well as the cover. This one didn't, but if you scroll to the bottom of the page you can read customer comments about the book.

Regarding the first book....serendipity quilts by Sara Nephew.....priced anywhere from $66.00 to $9,000.00 unbelievable! Checked with library, they don't have it nor is it available on interlibrary site......
