Has anyone made this pattern?
I am in the process of making the pattern surprisingly red by Jacqueline de Jonge and was wondering if anyone here has made this one. I am curious how other's look with different color arrangements. It would be nice if you could post pictures.
Shame on you for now adding another pattern I just have to have LOL
Just googled it - very beautiful....looks like Judy Nymeyer. Would love to see pics.
I have completed the inner/outer borders and it wasn't hard at all. If you are comfortable with paper piecing and sewing curves, you won't have a problem.
All I can say is WOW!
I'm with Jackie - WOW! Good for you!
Really pretty. No I am NOT adding it to my list, It will just stress me out. lol
I think it would be beautiful in any color as long as the values are kept. |
I love it, but I don't think I would want to make it.
A wonderful pattern and a great challenge! Luann
So, judging by the response, no one on this board has made this pattern? Man!
Heres one in golds and browns.

This is gorgeous. Well, beyond my patience level, But beautiful.
Wow! Not going to be on my to-do list even if it is truly beautiful!
Wow, that's completely beyond my ability.

I don't think I could ever make this pretty one!
I like paper piecing but this pattern looks like a bit more challenge than I'm willing to work on yet. It's beautiful though - would look great in blues or purples
Very nice, but not something I would make.
Glorious, but not for me - strictly from a an intensity point of view. It would certainly be an heirloom, though!
I haven't made this pattern, but it's certainly beautiful! Paper piecing isn't as difficult as it looks...I do prefer to work on smaller patterns though. Good luck with your project! Would love to see pictures!
It does look difficult and yummy.
Oh how fun! Wish I had the time to do it. I love it in the browns. Please show us how you are progressing.
Sorry but I didn't see golds and browns but another red. What am I missing?
Anyway, I won't be doing that pattern anytime soon. You can be the first and show us what to do. IOOPs! I didn't know to enlarge to get the other color. It is beautiful in the golds and browns. I can imagine greens would also be stunning. But I'm dreaming. |
Too challenging for this 'old girl'.
Absolutely gorgeous but far, far beyond my capabilities!
I would think this would be wonderful in any color, as long as it contrasted nicely with the background print.
Beautiful quilt! No, I've never made one but I sure would like to have it. LOL. I'd love to see it in turquoise.
Oh My...now I just love that quilt...hmmm..been looking for a new project. :-)
My goodness, it is lovely, but looks so difficult.
Beautiful quilt!! Hope you plan on posting YOUR pictures of your quilt.
my goodness, it has quite a number of points doesn't it?
Very interesting! Too much for me!
Wow, it would be gorgeous made up. Be sure to share your progress.
Wow. I am too new to attempt something like that, but it is beautiful.
a beautiful pattern but i am already struggling with a judy neimeyer pattern, why am i having such a mindblock about paper piecing....old age i guess.. i have put the pattern in time out before chrismas, hopefully i will drag it out and see if the new year made me any smarter.
OMD!!! (We quit saying the G and changed the expression to Oh My Dog when my grandson turned 3) (for obvious reasons!) What a beautiful quilt. You are so brave!
It does look like a Judy Neimeyer quilt.
