The mug rug in question here is mine. My apologies for upsetting a couple of you with my Christmas greeting post. Had the post been about the mug rug, I certainly would have included more details.
The photos are all available to view. The details have always been with my original flickr post about the mug rug. The letters are from Nancy Halverson's book, "I Believe". They are shrunk in size, fused with wonder under and raw edge appliqued. Had one of you contacted me I would have happily shared any information you desired. I respond to each and every one of my blog commenters personally with a reply email to them...just as most other bloggers do. If anyone else would like any further info, I'm more than happy to share. All you need do is contact me. Annie Thanks for sharing. |

Thank you all for your kind words. That mug rug remains a favorite of mine.

Hi Annie,
Your mug rug is stunning. I apologize, I started the post and should have written to you but it was an old post which I stumbled upon through Pinterest. I was only asking if anyone had seen the font. There are a bunch of smart gals here and it became a treasure hunt that they figured out with your mug rug as the treasure. It really is stunning and probably brought lots of blog traffic your way so hopefully all is good. Thanks for sharing your method. |
Beautiful.....just found the book and ordered from eBay......good price! Need something different to do for holidays. This is my answer. Thanks for this thread!

Love the mug rug, love the wall hanging, love the letters, love the blog...thanks all for the cute thread!

Yes, I was referring to the rather rude posts regarding my blogging habits. I like to take a pattern and change it up a bit to suit me. Nothing I make and share is a secret. I am willing to share and tell all to anyone interested. I think I'm pretty easy to contact. [email protected]
Debbie, no worries. Everything you did was fine. I found this thread because of the blog traffic coming from here. My heart sank with a couple of the comments for the very fact that I am always willing to share openly. I will in future keep in mind what has happened within this thread when I share something on my blog. |
Annie, I love your mug rug. One of the cutest I have ever seen. Love the circular shape.....were the stitched circles hard to sew? Did you do that by hand or use a circular attachment on your sewing machine? Sew CUTE!!!

Thank you Sandrea. I don't quite remember, but because the circles do not look perfect, I think I drew the first (smallest) circle then stitched the others a walking foot distance away.
