Has anyone tried the Big Foot for FMQ?

I need to purchase a darning foot for my Singer 301. Has anyone tried the slant shank Bigfoot? Opinions on it or suggestions for a better one? I have never used a plastic one before, only a metal, open toe darning foot on my 15-91. Can't find one like it to fit my slant shank, so was wondering about the Big Foot. Thanks!

That might be your only option for the slant machine

I have a lot of FMQ feet for my low shanks and I find that none of them make my quilting any better or worse. It is me and my level of "talent". I was convinced an open toe offset foot would help. Well, it's still me quilting. I would give it a go.

Check out the ones at Sew Classic. I have both of the ones she carries and they do a great job. I think they're much less expensive than the Big Foot.

I use the Big Foot. You have to make sure it is installed properly. I suggest you purchase one at a LQS and have someone show you how to install it. It works great for me.
