has anyone tried Judy Gauthier's block system

Judy Gauthier has a system of using 3.5, 4.5, and 5.5 acrylic templates for a variety of quilt patterns. Has anyone tried these? They look interesting. I found them at www.bungalowquilting.com

NO, I had not seen these before. I have the Omnigrip squares for 3.5", 5.5" and 6.5".

she says it's new...but it is still the scrap savers system, and doing your own precuts.
I don't doubt you have those three measurements on your own rulers :)

I don't see any advantage to her "system". And her statement that all books only teach you to use pre-cuts is just wrong.

I do use the scrap savers method of cutting blocks, but I sure would pay money to get special templates, I have 2 or 3 different sizes of long rulers, a couple of different size square rulers, but my "go to" ruler, is my June Tailor Shape Cut, as far as I'm concerned, it's the best thing since sliced bread.
