Have you seen these??

How do they work (if you have tried them)??

Those look really handy. I wonder if they ship to Canada. I might have to do some more searching.

I was looking at those too. I know someone on QB who has them but when I talked to her last she said that she had to modify the leaders to install them. Not sure how that went. I'll bring this tread to her attention and maybe she can give you some feedback on them.

These look awesome. Beats picking my fingers pinning the quilt on.

ManQuilter.com talked one time about putting zippers on the leaders. Sounded like a great idea to me! I don't have a long arm but I do have a quilting frame. One day I'm going to try that....would be much better than getting stuck by pins.

I have zippers on my long-arm. they are very handy. If you need to take the quilt off for any reason all you have to do is unzip it and remove then when you get ready to reload then zip it back on. You can also sit in leisure to pin the zipper half onto the quilt top and backing. Very handy indeed. Beats standing and pinning leaning over quilter for long periods of time.

You'll have to fold over the edge of the Leaders and sew a straight line. Just to make a casing for the rods to go through. Not a big deal.

I was looking at them not long ago. Still debating on them. I wish I knew someone too who had sprung for them. I hate getting stuck by pins but that is what I use.

Check out www.mqresources.com. There's a number of longarmers on that site that have bought them and love them. I've thought about the zippers.....but to me, it'd be a pain in the neck to sew them on and off.... I use large coursage pins and they work for me, however, I HAVE been thinking of buying the red snappers.

I have a hard enough time figuring out my leaders. It looks like a good idea maybe once I am more comfortable with my frame I will look into them again!!
