Have A Question About Printed Treasures Photo Fabric
 

I am making a T-Shirt quilt for a Navy guy. All his T's from service. I have his 9x12 black and white dress navy pic that I want to put in the center block and machine embroidery his name and what ever he wants under his pic. Now the fabric paper is 81/2 x 11. Can you all please explain to me how to do this. I have a all in one Cannon inkjet. Do I scan the pic to my picture program in my puter and resize the pic and then print it. Any tips I need to do this. I is my first time of doing this.
