I am making a quilt for DGS -- it consists of panels of Eric Carle fabric. After spending hours trying to straighten out the wonky panels, I started assembling the quilt. There are 4 panels -- each is directional. Somewhere between the design wall and the sewing machine (a distance of about 3 feet) one of the blocks in each row flipped -- and given that I am some what sleep deprived I did not notice until I was assembling the whole thing. (sigh -- doing the frog stitch -- ripit)
Thought I would work on something else -- started some very easy QAG place mats for a cousin. You guessed it, I turned 2 of the directionsl center panels sideways. I think I need a nap!!! |
sounds like you need a nap

yup - quit worrying - it just makes it more uniques the kids won't notice
|
uh huh, take a nap!

YUP sounds like a nap, or to walk away for a while.....

Step away from the sewing machine! Lol. Been there! Yes, take a nap and revisit your projects when you're fresh!
|
Maybe chocolate also -- stirs up endorphins I think -- makes you see more clearly, at least for a few minutes!

Yep, been there and done that more than once. Have a nice nap and a glass of iced tea (or beveridge of choice) and try it again tomorrow.
