I made the Lover's Knot quilt for a wedding gift for my son and his fiancé. She wanted a duvet cover instead of a quilt, so I said OK. Then one month before the wedding, she called it off - she was not getting that quilt, so it got renamed Lovers Not. I later finished it, and since no one in the family wanted it because of bad karma, I donated it to my church for their raffle quilt at their holiday fair. It brought in over $1800 or a little more, so a lover's not quilt became a good raffle quilt that went for a good cause. Sorry I digress, it's not hard, but you do have to have a sample block, at least I did, so that I could keep the block going the right way. Just take your time and it will come together. The colors are absolutely beautiful and it will be a gorgeous quilt when it's finished.

Okay, my brain is now warped for sure, but with additional help from my son, I have all the pieces in the right places. Now I just need to sew them together without getting them mixed up. :)
Here are all the pieces up on my design wall. It IS going to look quite good. Dina |
