yes. i hated the quilt that i made for my sister's wall. twin size for above a king-size bed. not my colors, not my pattern, took months because i couldn't stand it. and after asking for it it's lying on the floor in her bedroom

Yes, my sons skeleton quilt. I fought with the back for days. I bought the wrong fleece and this one was way to stretchy.

Been there, done that, too. Got one right now that was supposed to be for a very dear friend's birthday next week. Decided it'll be for Christmas instead because I have a hard time working on it. I'm more earthy-lodgy, muted colors and she's more modern-Asian, bright colors. Hate working on it. Not my style, not my colors...you know the drill. I just made up my mind that I'll give myself a break (and more time), knowing that she'll love it when I DO get it done.

That's sad. Did you find out what she doesn't like about it? She's your sister - I'd like to think the two of you could be honest with each other. Or did you get all the chutzpah in your family? :twisted:
