Have you ever
I was wondering if anyone has ever made a quilted greeting card? I have seen pictures of quilted post cards but not greeting cards. I searched the internet for quilted greeting card patterns but could not find one. I wonder, how I could do this.

I have put pieces of fabric on the front of cards and sewn the fabric to it. I haven't put any batting behind it. I would imagine you can do it the same way you do the post card.

fons and porter had some nice christmas cards in their dec issue they sort of resembled rag quilts and didnt look that hard. they were by an artist named linda davis her website is www.willowpatch.com
they were really cute and old fashioned looking. if i had the time id experiment but ive already passed christmas stress overload and am pegging out panic lol so i really cant add even a small thing to my plate right now. carla |
