Have you ever put together a quilt top the wrong way then the way you had it layed out; and liked it better ? I just did . I had it all layed out and thought I was sewing the way I had it layed out. When I had it all together it was wrong But I liked it even more.

I did one of those large graduated stars (the name escapes me at the moment) but apparently, I turned something the wrong way. Most of those stars graduate from the center point out - mine graduates to a point. Intersting layout - one of these days I'll finish it.

It's they way it was meant to be. Subconsciously you know it.

Oh I have done it the wrong way before too many time to tell...LOL But, I was never lucky enough to like it better. Good that you made the "mistake"!

Quilt4u I am so happy that you liked the way it ended up! I have made that mistake before but unfortunately it looked just terrible. Rippit Rippit

Yep, I've done that more than once! Sometimes kitties have a way of moving blocks around on the bed to their liking....
