Have you ever wished your machine kept track of thread?

I've always wished all my machines over the years kept track of the MILES of thread I've put through them...wouldn't that be neat? Now I also wish the seam ripper also had that ability. The top picture is correct, bottom is very wrong...only cut 4, at least I didn't ruin the whole stack..I have 30 blocks to rip and redo...easy pattern, shortcut to make the pinwheel on point...yea, easy for me to uh, mess up, lol

I wish I had a machine that would have a 'sensor' to tell me when I'm about to run out of bobbin thread in the next few minutes... Or one that bleeps out what I'm saying under my breath...

Well, at least you didn't cut them all.

I wish all my vintage machines could tell their stories. And I wish all of my machines would know how to sew a 1/4 inch seam all by themselves!!

my emb machine keeps track of how many stitches are on the machine

Most newer computerized machines have a stitch counter in them and thread sensors.

Yep, my wonderful Janome counts the stitches when I'm embroidering, has a bobbin sensor to keep me from running out in the middle of an intricate pattern, but none tells me the miles of thread I've used, and none bleeps out the language when I mess up, lol

Someone will come up with that, and tack several hundred to the price of the machine.
