I have seen an older model 28 inch throat with no stitch regulator on a super long table. Ok a dinosaur but are these any good? How about not having a stitch regulator? Anyone worked on any of these before or have one still?

I've heard of it and seen them at the AQS show in Paducah. It is still in production so it may not be a dinosaur: http://www.kenquilt.com/index.php?ma...&products_id=8

A stitch regulator is optional.

The 622 and 633 are the models I am familiar with because they were more in-line with my budget when I was looking for a home system. The Royal is a true longarm and way out of my budget.

some long armquilters still dont use regulator but i would have to have one as i dont have enough time to practice enough to get good enough

Oh bummer she decided not to sell it yet. My interest was perked.

I want to reopen this thread. I , too, have found a 10 yr. old kenquilt royal longarm machine for sale. It is in excellent condition. Asking 4500. for it. does anyone have or have used one of these. Also, is the company still in business?

I have an OLD,OLD Kenquilt 622. It runs very smooth and has a good stitch. It only has a 11" throat so it is a little difficult for large quilts. They are still in business and I email a question and got a response the next day.
