Have you taken Charlotte Warr Anderson workshop?

I'm thinking of taking a Charlotte Warr Anderson 6 hour workshop. Have you done any workshops with her? What did you think of her teaching? Thanks. I have to travel, get a hotel room and it gets expensive. Couldn't find any reviews on her workshop.

I took a workshop many years ago here in Vancouver. I really enjoyed her teaching skills. (fun personality) In that class we brought a photo and used an overhead projector to blow up our photo on the wall and then traced it out. Then we drew a pattern from it that we pieced..... hmmm... forgot about that technique. Edited to add a photo of what I worked on, you can see the photo on the left, please excuse the mess and the ribbon etc.

If I had the means for such a treat, I'd reserve my place right away. I have been awed by her ability to take a photo and make a quilted likeness, and also impressed by her patchwork skills. Georgia Bonesteel has mentioned her frequently, mostly to do with a quilting retreat they attend at a ranch. More recently, Charlotte Warr Anderson has produced one or two books on quilting with a walking foot. Without a doubt, one of the most talented fiber artists out there.

Her work is amazing, she has been working and teaching for many years, a real pro. Lucky you to be able to take a workshop with her.

Where will she be teaching? I would love to have a workshop with her.

Yes! I don't regret it at all. It was an amazing workshop.

I got to attend Charlotte's trunk show, and she is truly an amazing artist! And a fun personality! I didn't get to try her technique, but she was very generous in showing it to us. Go and have fun!

Charlotte has been winning awards and teaching for over 2 decades. She was the leader in the realistic portrait quilts in the 90s. Wonderful artist!
