I thought the difficulties I had with Quilter's Club of America were just me but now I see, it was wide spread. So I dropped my membership. I belong to AQS and like the Craftsy classes, MSQC and Youtube.

I joined a fe it, I was told that the purchase didn't qualify for some reasor or another, just like trying to use the cupon, always on sale and it voids the cupon.
w years ago just for the 20% discount for Joanns, but every time I tried to use

I renewed at this rate. Got a free book and $10 gift certificate for AQS store. Great deal I saw online a few weeks ago.

year, $46 for two years, and $69 for three years.
I love AQS. A great magazine and online reference for quilters of all types. I mostly found QCOA to be advertisements for buying kits. Not my style.

YouTube has thousands of quilting videos, Eleanor Burns has her videos available free online and so do so many others, I gave up all of my subscriptions and don't miss them or the piles of magazines stacking up because I just can't throw them away after the expense. Just my thought.

Thank you very much for the tip about AQS $20 for the first year! I just signed up as a new member. I understand from a coworker that AQS is very good and she always belongs. Also, hope to go to a quilt show in February in Daytona Beach and the tickets are slightly discounted for AQS members which is nice.

Does anyone know if AQS accepts Paypal? I didn't see it as one of the payment options.

The Quilt Show also has videos. They are not affiliated to QCA. They were having a special. Also, AQS has started iquilt, but I haven't tried it.

I DID NOT renew as I found more information on You Tube than they provided. It's mostly hype. IMHO

I was a member of QCA for several years, but there are so many free quilting videos on YouTube and Nancy's Notions, etc. that I didn't renew my membership when it came up last summer. I also enjoy the Craftsy classes. They have 50% off sales all the time. Sometimes even more than 50%. When I see a class I am interested in, I add it to my wish list and wait till they have it on sale to buy it. When you buy the class, it is yours for life. You can watch it as often as you want.
