I just got a letter from Heart to Hand online and they are closing due to death of the owner and no one is going to buy the storefront. They are located in Oregon. Very sad to hear about this, and very sad for its local customers. They are having a liquidation sale in June. They'll send out another newletter about the dates and i'll let everyone here know when it is too.

I live in Oregon City and also just got the word they are closing. They have been really nice and helpful everytime I have been in there. Will surely miss them as they were very convenient to me - only about a mile and a half from my house. Wendy was really a great lady.

Reach for the stars, I am sorry about yourshop quilting...that must have been so sad for you! It is so hard to be able to buy fabric for many...I bet it was a great shop!

Yes, If I wanted to special order something or a pattern, they always did it and I didn't have to pay until it arrived. Fortunately, we do have several shops within a 15 mile radius that I also freguent. And I just made a trip to Oklahoma stopping at shops along the way. I must have come home with about 30 yards of material. Found a really neat shop in Antler, Oklahoma. She has a 6000 square foot building and 5000 bolts of fabric. Very reasonable prices too and lots of landscaping fabric. Only problem is she does not have a web site to order on line. But she says if something is needed we can send her a swatch and she will probably have it. I may be sending my sister back over there as she lives in Oklahoma!
