Heatnbond EZ Print Fusible
 

I just saw this in a catalogue and before I ordered it I wondered if any one has used it and is it very stiff? I usually use steam a seam lite and really want my appliqués as soft as possible. Thanks!

Have you tried Misty fuse I find it much softer.

I have a friend that tested a bunch and her preference is the Heat N Bond Featherlite. She was also a previous steam a seam lite user.

I don't know how stiff it is, but if it's the printable feature that you want, I run Pellon 805 (Wonder Under) through my injet printer all the time and have for years. I suspect if you put MistyFuse on parchment paper, that would go through a printer just as well as the Wonder Under does. Steam-a-Seam may not because it's sticky, but even 'regular' HeatnBond (the stuff not promoted as printable) can go through a printer and they say so on the tip sheet. You just pay a lot extra for them to cut it into 8½x11 sheets.

I think each of us has our own personal favorite fusible web, so it can be hard to make any change without 'shopping around'. Just some things to consider before you place that order.

Unless I could feel it up close I'd probably figure it would be stiffer just because that's what Heat n Bond usually is. If you are ordering it I'd only do the min amount until I found out. You might be able to find the printable HnB at JoAnn's too. I do like Steam a Seam lite but heard it was going off the market, not sure if that's true but theres been a lot on here about it. As cheap as Pelon is on the bolt I'd at least try running it thru the printer to see how it goes with your printer

I really like the Heat & Bond Featherweight. I usually run a copy of my pattern through my printer and then use a glue stick on the back of the H&B paper. Eliminates the need to draw around the pattern and peels off when you're ready to use it. Works really well.
