Welcome to the board. I like the Irish chain but always do something else. I do occasionally work in well washed fabrics.

Not only are the members here some of the best quilters, everyone is so helpful and friendly. I have learned more from the members on this board than in any quilt book I own. Their knowledge and experience is immeasurable.

I made a very successful Triple Irish chain using my watercolor fabric. I had a book called Time for a Chain by Possibilities. I went from the darkest as the center chain gradually going to the lightest being the background. QIAD also has a really good Triple Irish Chain book with interesting layouts. Welcome to the board
