Hello there!

Hello there!

Don't post much here. Does anyone know anything about Arrow sewing tables?

Good reviews? Bad reviews?

I'm just wondering what you guys think about them.

Also,

What are your pet peeves when it comes to sewing?

Thanks a bunch!

I don't know anything about the tables, sorry. I hate when the phone rings when I'm sewing and the person thinks they can go on and on because I'm ONLY sewing.

Thanks Dolphyngyrl! I've read elsewhere that they're not sturdy enough! Go figure..

I use an old but good kitchen table for sewing. I cannot get used to sewing tables. Weird, eh?

I also love the Gidget 2. I think it's pretty sturdy. It is small though, so I use it along with a folding table for some extra space. Works for me since I have a very small corner of the bedroom to sew. I only haul out the extra table when quilting.

Did you notice the size of machine it will hold, on this site it says 17 ½" w x 7 3/8" d, do you might want to measure your machine & see if it's even possible to use it. http://mccallpattern.mccall.com/gidg...hp?page_id=559

The tables are small, I had one and sold it. My machine did fit but the table vibrated, jiggled, etc. I put the table on hardwood, carpet, anti-fatigue mats and nothing helped. To sum in up in one word...crap.

I bought the Arrow, and it's "the bee's knees", IMO. My sewing machine fits, and I have never had a problem with jiggling or movement. I can sew more comfortably on it, than I could by setting it on the table to sew. I do not regret buying it at all; I think anything that makes it easier to sew is good. For me, it was reasonably priced, and it does what it says it will do. It is very easy to set up, so you can start sewing as soon as you get it out of the box. I don't know much about the Gidget2; I believe it is for larger machines, but made by the same company. Just measure your machine, and see which one fits for you. I got mine from Amazon, for about $20 cheaper than the Arrow website.

I also love my gidget2. I have the plexi-fitters for both my phaff and designer 1 machines.

I love the Arrow Olivia Pistachio table. It's so darn cute!! I don't know about any of the other tables. I just love the Olivia Pistachio table. Whoever came up with that table is a genius!

Here's a way to find reviews on products in which you have interest. https://www.google.com/search?q=cust...hrome&ie=UTF-8

I just google "customer reviews on........"

Never heard of them. Same pet peeve as Maureen. But it doesn't matter what you're doing they don't think it's important. I was fixing breakfast for my DH and I and was told to send him to McDs. I told them I couldn't do that because I would hate for that not to be the last meal I fixed for him. So I said goodbye and hung up. It wasn't an emergency anyway.
