Hello from a newbie on this board! I hate to display my ignorance, but I don't understand a lot of the acronyms used here. Is there a place where they are defined? I understand "LQS" and "FMQ" and a few other things, but a definition list would surely be helpful! Sign me "Puzzled!"

We had a thread going on that, but I don't know where it went.

At the bottom of the tips page there are many of the acronyms listed: http://www.quiltingboard.com/user_page.jsp?upnum=3335

I hope this helps. Otherwise I'd recommend asking directly in the thread in which you come across an acronym you don't know.

I just hate for everyone to know how ignorant I am!

Glad I could help. I'm new here myself and I've already got so many valuable tips and tricks from this board, it makes me happy to be able to help someone even if it's only in a small way.

I spend more time trying to figure out what abbreviations mean as I do reading. I feel so stupid alot of the time. Oh thank you for telling us where to look.

It is a learning process. I am always seeing a new one.
