help with adhesives

Has anyone used the June Tailor quilt basting spray or the Dritz quilting adhesive? I use to us Sullivans but they changed formula and just doesn't please me at all. I have tied the Elmers school glue but doesn't give me the results I want. Sure would love our comments on what works for you. Thanks for the help.

I use 505. Last project was a quilt top with minky backing and it performed beautifully.

I recently used the Dritz on a small wallhanging and it worked great.

I use whatever's on sale. I know other's have complained about June Tailor but I have no problems with it. Just used it on a large wallhanging and it held together well, my needle didn't get gummed up, and the odor wasn't any worse than 505 or Dritz. I don't see any problems after washing the wallhanging, don't feel any stiffness or smell any residue.

The first spray adhesive i ever used was Dritz, and it worked great. A can didn't go as far as 505, but in all fairness to the product, I may have used more than was necessary. It didn't gum up the needle and washed out great. I do prefer 505 when on sale, it seems to go further.

I tried several brands until 505. In my experience, 505 is better than all the others. A new one out that is supposed to be even better than 505 is Therm-O-Web Spray n Bond, but I haven't tried it. I was able to buy 505 locally only once; usually I bought the big can online from sewforless.com . I see they don't currently have the big can, but I have used the small can too:

I love the thermo web stuff. I couldn't smell it when spraying and it held well without that "sticky" feeling from others. Any overspray did not leave the surroundingd sticky either.

I have been using June Tailor lately and like it. I used the 505 before. I tried the school glue and did not like using it at all.

I've used both Dritz and June Tailor. Both worked well, but I didn't like the overspray. I tried Thermo-Web with good results and no overspray. It's what I'm currently using. I pick up a couple of cans at Hancock Fabrics when it's on sale.
