I cannot load a picture on my avatar. Could someone tell me what I might be doing wrong. Thanks

Can you tell us what you have tried then we might be able to guide you

Do not click on preview, when trying to post pictures, it sends them out into cyberspace :wink: :D:D:D

Go to my profile:
Scroll down to Avatar:
Click on Browse:
Find the picture you want to upload for your Avatar:
Picture may have to be in jpg. gif. format (not sure)
Click Update Avatar:

I've tried MANY times to create an avatar. I followed the steps exactly and my chosen picture does not show up.

You have to reduce the size first. I think it has to be less than 1mb, but not sure.

your photo may be too large, I had that problem, so I made it smaller and it worked the next time. But did cut some of the sharpness from the photo, but went with it anyway. Shirley/tn (jigs1354)

In your photo program, click on your picture, then go up to file and click on Save As... (that is where there is a drop down list of different formats like jpg) click on jpg and save.

In your photo program or msPaint is where you would the size of your photo too.

Go to your paint program most computer come with one.
Open your file that has the picture that you want to post
Resize your picture I usally select 600 pxs
Then click save as and name the file
Then select jpg or gif and click save
