Hi I am new to this site and heard you are a great group of people. I was assured someone here would no doubt be able to help me with my embroidery machine. I have a Bernina 730. Although I have used it some I am having some issues with deleting a designs, with importing designs from my labtop. Anyone here that could help me. :D Thank you in advance

I have a 730, but so far, I haven't ever deleted any designs. I don't have the software to design my own, I just buy them online. Re getting them into the machine, I puut them on the usb stick from the laptop, then plug that into the machine. Sorry, I'm not very technical, so I'm sure someone else will be able to explain things better than I can.

I may be able to help a little also... I have a Bernina 630 (very similar). I use the "Artista Editor Lite" software that came with the machine and also write them to a USB stick for use on the machine.

Which software are you using, and exactly what steps are you going through; what doesn't work, etc.? I'm sure with a little more info, we can help you through this.

Are your designs in the ART format, that's the only format Bernina will read.

My dongle says Editor Plus version 5. I may have asked the question wrong. I am having difficulty removing parts as I put a design together. I have not really tried to delete a finished design, nor do I really need to do that. I just want to be able to remove as I go in planning the design. I have only had the machine for a couple of months. I bought it from an individual person, not a dealership so I really need some mastery classes. I was sewing on a Bernina 440 QE and wanted the 730 so I would not have to embroider through my laptop. I hope I have not made a mistake. Thanks for showing interest in my situation.

Lesley, When you load designs on a USB stick, do you use the one that came with the machine or have you purchased one from an office supply store that works on your machine? Thanks for replying. I really need to communicate with someone with the same machine I have. Thanks so much. cwats
