I am making a name tag for my Quilt Guild. It is a log cabin pattern that is about 4" x 3.5". I am having a heck of a time getting the binding to meet and look smooth. I have no problem with bigger projects but this one has me frustrated. I am supposed to have it done by Tuesday. Thanks for all your help in advance. I should be working on it now but cannot get away from all the good information on this board!

See if the will help in any way. They can be so tricky. |
Binding has always given me problems! Thanks so much for this link. I just made a copy and believe it or not it made total sense to me. lol

On something that small, I think it would be much better to use the backing as a self-binding. http://www.how-to-quilt.com/articles...-binding.shtml
It's very difficult on a piece that small to put a regular binding with mitered corners on it. |
Thanks so much, this is the technique I used but was making it harder than it should have been because the block was so small. I did it and it look wonderful. I printed out the instructions. Great Site. Thanks
