Help with choosing quilt pattern

My daughter takes a weekly pic of my granddaughter and uses a different fabric as background each week. So I will have 52 yards of fabric to use to make a quilt.

I realize that's way more than I need and will be able to
Make more than one quilt but I'm looking for ideas on quilt patterns to showcase each weeks fabric. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe you should just do a sampler... if you're into applique you could do some beautiful applique blocks featuring the fabrics she's picked on each block. You could do a Queen or King size bed quilt and save it to give her for her wedding day quilt! LOL! The rest of the fabric could be used for baby or kid quilts for her to use now.

I'd look into one of the I spy patterns. Maybe use some of the rest of the scraps for simple pineafores.

OR start a sample quilt to be given as graduation gift or wedding gift

Have a look through Bonnie Hunter's Free Pattern tab at http://www.quiltville.blogspot.ca Maybe one there will strike your fancy. A good pattern to combine all different fabrics with a main background fabric is Jenny Doan's Falling Charms. You can watch her tutorials on youtube under Missouri Star Quilt Co.

You could also make a Thousand Pyramids or the Postage Stamp Quilt
