Both are beautiful, but I like the black best.

I vote black!

I was recently chatting with a guy who worked for Singer for over 40 years and he was saying that the black FWs are much better quality than the white ones. I've heard that elsewhere too.

Overall tho you need to choose the one that calls to you...

Lucky you to have such a wonderful and generous brother. Go with your heart and choose the one that "speaks" to you.

I'd go for the black one if it was my choice...great brother congrats on your gift.

My vote is for the black and your brother of course :lol:

Oh I'd get the black one they are so much better than the white ones, I have 5 white ones and 4 black ones, hands down the black ones are the best. I bought the white ones before I knew, and I wanted 3 for my Great Nieces and 1 for my GD. I have one for myself but love my lil black beauties best.
Plus the black one is a centennial......the case has it's key and is in great shape and you get the attachments...... :thumbup: :thumbup:
Everything looks good with the white one I guess it should just be what you like best.

I badly want a white one, but not at that price. I would choose the black one.
