Help Does anyone have a Babylock Crown Jewel Longarm???

I bought this machine and frame several years ago now. I've had nothing but problems with it. At the moment, my problem is: It sews great if I'm going in straight lines. But once I try to go in a circle or meander, the bottom thread goes wacky - skipping and bunching. What am I doing wrong???

I have it set on regulated, cruise, 12SPI

Thank you for any help you can offer. The place where I bought the machine is over an hour away - not convenient for assistance.

For starters, people will need to know what size needle you are using and what brand/type of thread in top and bobbin.

Just a guess here, are your tensions too tight? Jamie Wallen has an excellent video on it, applicable to any brand machine - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1mRhcquZTM

You might want to go to the yahoo groups to see if they have a babylock crown jewel or HQ Avante group because they will probably be able to help you a lot more. Did you buy from a dealer if so they may be able to give you some free lessons on it

I think you just need to adjust your tensions. That happens with all longarm machines from time to time, especially if you change battings or the type of thread you are using. Just something longarmers have to learn to do.
